Define a typical Bugz in the attic record?
Just good soulful music.
How do you guys come together to put together a track?
It usually comes together quite organically with different
beats being tried out and gradually it’ll take shape
adding the music, vocals, etc….sometimes the process
will take days, sometimes months, sometimes years………….
 Can
we expect a lot of broken beats stuff when you are playing
at Zoukout?
Yes, we always represent what we, and our contemporaries,
are doing alongside all the other stuff that we’re
feeling.
How is broken beats like compared to the other Genre
of music, any major difference?
It’s a form of music that’s a sum of all the
individual’s influences, this being all good dance
music over the past 30 years (not including trance music).
The term ‘broken beat’ doesn’t define all
the music that’s produced by Bugz or their contemporaries
though.
What kind of reaction would you expect from the crowd?
There’s a special co-op dance that we’d expect
the zoukout crowd to learn in advance of our appearance.
Any further projects in the future with other artists?
There’s many projects constantly ongoing…..later
in the year there’s an album coming out under the
name DKD, which involves Daz-I-Kue (Bugz), Kaidi Tatham
(Bugz) and Dego (4hero). And keep an ear to the floor
for albania’s premier broken beat artist ‘TheTruth’.
Would any of you guys remix a Britney Spears record?
If it was a good song, then yes.
What is Soulful music to you guys?
That’s not a question that can be answered quickly.
