Little is known about the enigmatic musician who goes by the
moniker FSKL except that he has strong feelings for deep house
and the local scene in KL.
We do know that he began classical training in music when
he was seven, started experimenting with electronic music at
16, and began producing at 17.
He cites the H-Foundation, The Timewriter, G-Pal, ADNY, The
Producers, Kerri Chandler and Brett Johnson as musical
influences.
A private individual who prefers to let the music do the
talking, FSKL did reveal the meaning behind his acronym.
"FSKL stands for Future Sounds of Kuala Lumpur... I
chose that because I really want to push the sounds of our
scene," he said with a wry smile.
